How to use
Application rates
- During planting, transplanting, or dividing plants, apply the 4-10-2 fertilizer around the roots or, even better, mix it with planting soil.
- Annual Flowers and Perennial (Small Sizes): Mix 120 g per m² (2/3 cup/11 ft²) or 36 g (3 tablespoons) per plant.
- Bulbs: Mix 18 g (1 ½ tablespoons) into the soil under each bulb.
- Shrubs and Roses: 60 g (1/4 cup) per plant.
- Trees: 90 g (3/4 cup) per plant.
- Seeding or Laying Sod: Spread 1.5 kg per 26 m² (280 ft²) over the surface before seeding or laying sod.
Mother Hen’s Advice
- Four weeks after applying the transplant fertilizer, apply a specialized Acti-Sol fertilizer to meet the specific needs for the growth of your plants.
- Mix the granules into the soil to improve the effectiveness of the fertilizer. Avoid direct contact between the granules and the roots or stems.
