Advantages

Find out why so many agricultural producers use Acti-Sol fertilizers year after year and you too can take advantage of their effectiveness!

Certifications

Approved for organic agriculture since 2004, Acti-Sol hen manure is successfully used by a large number of producers.

Profitability

In agricultural production, purchasing fertilizer must absolutely result in an increase in quality and quantity at harvest time. Because it is so efficient and easy to use, Acti-Sol fertilizer is a profitable input for the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, and grain.

Fertilizers rich in organic matter and calcium

Pure dried hen manure contains a minimum of 70% organic matter and a maximum of 10% moisture. Using it nourishes and loosens the soil, stimulates biological activity in the soil, and promotes better soil aeration and water retention. Layer hen manure is naturally rich in calcium.

High quality products

Acti-Sol natural fertilizers are successfully used by many agricultural producers.

  • Over 70% of the nitrogen available as of the first year
  • No 90 or 120-day waiting period before harvesting
  • Completely homogeneous fertilizer containing a maximum of fertilizing ingredients in a minimum of volume
  • No unpleasant odour during spreading
  • Available in two easy-to-spread granule sizes

Making use of a renewable resource

Layer hen manure is a natural, abundant, and renewable resource that has been recognized for centuries as one of the best natural fertilizers. Every year, Acti-Sol recycles thousands of tons of hen manure to the benefit of agricultural producers as well as amateur and professional gardeners.

An eco-friendly manufacturing process

Directly installed in hen houses, the technology developed by Acti-Sol recovers the heat generated by the hens and uses it for manure drying. No other energy source is used to dry the droppings. Quickly drying the hen manure also prevents ammonia from forming and being released in the atmosphere. Because dried manure weighs less, it saves on fuel when the manure is carried from the farm to the processing plant.

Our prevention system ensures the safety of all our products

In addition to internal controls, we use the services of external laboratories to validate the safety of our products.

Strict control of disease transmission

Just like any other organic fertilizer, layer hen manure can be a vector for pathogens. The manufacturing process developed by Acti-Sol ensures the total safety of the fertilizers being produced.

The temperature reached during the granulation process ensures the complete destruction of viruses and bacteria potentially found in poultry droppings.

Remember that the raw material comes from hen houses on family farms, where eggs are produced for human consumption. These types of operations have to abide by very strict safety standards to prevent diseases.
