Do I need to open an account?
At Acti-Sol, it is possible to order without having an account. Payment will be required before the order is delivered (or picked up). Payment can be made by bank transfer, via your banking application or by E-transfer.
How long does it take to receive my order?
As soon as payment is received, we estimate a lead time of up to 5 working days (depending on the region).
How are shipping costs calculated?
We don’t have trucks, so we use carriers. Transport costs are calculated according to the number of pallets and the postal code. Depending on the region and the carrier, we have a pre-established price list. For regions where there is no price list, a freight quote is requested from the carriers.
What trucks and equipment are available for delivery?
Deliveries are usually done with a 53′ truck. A 48′ truck or smaller truck can be requested depending on the carrier and the accessibility of the delivery site at an additional cost. The following services are available from the carrier at extra cost: a pallet jack (to move pallets inside the truck) and a hydraulic tailgate (to lower the pallet from the truck to the ground if there is no unloading dock).
Are the fertilizers certified for organic production?
Our fertilizers are approved for organic farming by Écocert Canada and Québec Vrai. Pure hen manure 5-3-2 is also approved by OMRI. Copies of our certifications and approvals are available upon request.
Manufacturing and safety procedures?
An explanatory letter on our manufacturing process and the quality and integrity controls of our fertilizers, as well as our safety data sheets for each product, are available upon request.
Can we pick up our order ourselves?
Yes, but equipment must meet certain criteria. Pick-up charges may apply if the vehicle does not respect the 4-foot height of the loading dock, or if the trailer is a flatbed. Due to the presence of a hen house nearby, the vehicle of a poultry owner may not be admitted to the site.
If your pickup is to be made at our Toronto third-party warehouse, a flat fee of $20 applies.
Can a big bag be resealed?
Once opened, a big bag can be closed using the choke cords on the top of the bag. FledBag is an easy-to-use tool for creating a valve at the bottom of the bag.

How do I use Fresh Seaweed Concentrate?
Acadie fresh seaweed should be diluted in water and is suitable for both foliar and ground application, or with an irrigation system.

Acadie hydrolyzed fish should be diluted with water. Application can be made by both foliar and ground application, or with an irrigation system.

What is the shelf life of Acadie products?
Shelf life according to the organic Marketed Substances List (MSL) is 24 months.
Fresh Seaweed Concentrate
- Properly stored, hermetically sealed and undiluted in water, the product remains effective thanks to an exclusive alkaline extraction process that preserves its natural compounds. A deposit may form, so always shake well before use.

How should Acti-Sol and Acadie products be stored?
Hen Manure:
- Storage: Product should be stored in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture absorption and clumping.
Fresh Seaweed Concentrate:
- Storage: This product should be stored away from bright sunlight, heat and frost. Close lid tightly after each use.
Hydolyzed Fish:

Can I buy professional sizes if I have a very large garden?
