How to use
Application rates
- There are three key times for applying this fertilizer:
- At the appearance of foliage, to support growth.
- At the end of June/beginning of July, to promote flowering.
- In August, to help the plant build reserves for winter.
- Roses and fruit shrubs: Spread 120g (2/3 cup) on the soil around the rose bush.
- Fruit trees: Spread 60g per cm of trunk (1/3 cup per 0.4 inches).
- 1.5 kg covers 14 rose bushes
Mother Hen’s Advice
- Mix the granules into the soil to improve the effectiveness of the fertilizer. Avoid direct contact between the granules and the roots or stems. For healthy plants until frost, apply the combo of seaweed and Acadie hydrolyzed fish to the soil every 2-3 weeks starting in July.
